The new Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner is Dzulkifli Ahmad, from the Attorney-General Chambers, The Malaysian Official 1 can confirm.
He will take up his new post next week, government sources said today. He is now head of the AGC’s National Revenue Recovery Enforcement team.
It was previously speculated that Deputy Inspector-General of Police Noor Rashid Ibrahim was to be the new chief commissioner to replace the outgoing Abu Kassim Mohamed.
The MACC has been investigating the 1MDB and alleged donations to Prime Minister Najib Razak’s bank accounts but he has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
